Desert Candles camp, Erg Chigaga (slide gallery)
Located in the heart of the stunning Erg Chigaga dunes, our standard desert camp offers comfort and authenticity in a breathtaking Sahara setting. We have 12 private nomad tents, and groups are never mixed, ensuring privacy for each booking. Each tent features 4 comfortable beds with bed sheets and pillows, warm blankets, wall-to-wall carpet, and lighting inside and outside.
Guests can enjoy delicious local cuisine in our restaurant and relax in a welcoming lounge with seating and a fireplace overlooking the high dunes. The camp includes a shared bathhouse with three separate showers and three private water toilets.
Camel rides start and end directly from the camp, and sandboards are available at all times for guests to use at their leisure.
Powered by solar panels, we provide clean and sustainable electricity, and phones and cameras can be charged in the restaurant house.

Blending traditional Berber design with modern comfort, the camp features a central lounge with floor cushions and pouffes, ice-cold drinks, and starlit dining under the open sky or in a tent. Guests can also relax in shaded lounge tents or hammocks.
Spacious 25m² tents include a king-size (or twin) bed, handmade Moroccan furnishings, solar lighting, plush rugs, and premium bedding. Each private bathroom has a toilet, dressing area, luxury toiletries, and an eco-friendly bucket wash with hot and cold water.
